Welcome

Welcome to New Covenant Fellowship!  We are the English-speaking ministry of Contra Costa Korean Presbyterian Church.  Although our membership is mostly Asian American, we welcome anyone who is interested in worshipping with us.  Our group consists of all age groups, from college through grandparents.

We are conservative-reformed in theology and believe that through Bible study and prayer, we can encourage one another to find true meaning and joy in life as God intended.  As our name implies, we believe that it's not enough to come to church on Sundays, but that each person is called to be part of the larger family of Christ, and so we provide many opportunties to meet and interact with other members.
Whether you are seeking answers about God, brand new in your faith, or have been a Christian for a long time, there is a place for you here at NCF.  Come on by... we would love to meet you!

1.Thanks to Pastor Sam Shin, lead pastor for the English ministry and education pastor at Bethel Korean Church for preaching today as our guest speaker.

2. We have started Bible study small groups this week.  Please check the events page on the church website at newcovenantfellowship.org to see which Bible study to attend.  Please RSVP to your group's leader if you are planning to attend.

3. We are looking for blog writers as well as people to help record the sermon on Sundays and post it on the website.  If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please contact Mike Kim at mfk@cs.stanford.edu.

4. The youth group is in need of teachers.  If you feel called to serve as a teacher on Friday nights and Sunday after service, please see Pastor Peter Choi or contact him at wonduk@yahoo.com.

5. The men's golf fellowship outing is set for 9/24-9/25.  If you are interested in participating and especially if you would be willing to help coordinate the outing, please contact Jimmy Kim at jimmyhjkim@yahoo.com>.

6. NCF is planning on going to Tijuana again, this time for a dental missions trip over the week of Thanksgiving.  If you are interested in going, please talk to Elder Im (elderim@gmail.com) or Caleb Cho (schodds@yahoo.com).  We are also holding a rummage sale fundraiser to raise funds for the orphanage in Tijuana.  If you are interested in donating items or helping out, please contact either Linda Park (parklinda@yahoo.com) or Jae Kang (jaemkang@gmail.com).

7. Our newcomers welcoming dinner has been set for Sunday, 9/12/10 at 5:30pm at Elder Im's house.  If you have recently starting attending our church, please RSVP to Elder Im and come join us!

8. We are still looking for people who want to sing, play and instrument, or help out with sound during our Sunday service.  Even if you do not play an instrument but are willing to learn, please contact Justin Cho at kpjustin@hotmail.com.
